The much-anticipated tribute screening of the 1975 classic film Sholay at the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) was unexpectedly cancelled on Friday due to a critical technical issue. The organisers confirmed that a malfunction involving the Key Delivery Message (KDM), which functions as the decryption key for digital cinema content, prevented the screening from taking place. The event was planned as a commemorative celebration marking 50 years of the iconic film, as well as a tribute to Dharmendra, who passed away this week.
