Goa Medical College Strengthens Healthcare Systems Under Vishwajit Rane’s Leadership


 Goa continues to set new benchmarks in public healthcare under the guidance of Health Minister Vishwajit Rane, who recently conducted a comprehensive review of hospital operations and management at Goa Medical College (GMC).

The review session focused on strengthening key systems to ensure seamless access to patient care, improved efficiency, and a better overall experience for both patients and healthcare professionals.

Enhancing Patient-Centric Care

During the review, several important decisions were taken to optimize hospital workflows, upgrade infrastructure, and introduce new monitoring mechanisms aimed at improving service quality. Minister Rane emphasized the importance of efficient management, modern equipment, and transparent operations to provide timely care to every citizen.

He stated that the government’s top priority remains the welfare of patients and the empowerment of doctors and medical staff who are the backbone of Goa’s healthcare ecosystem.

“Our focus is on creating a system that prioritizes people’s health, enhances accessibility, and delivers quality care without delay. Goa Medical College will continue to evolve as a true centre of excellence in healthcare delivery,” said Vishwajit Rane.
