A cornerstone of this success is the Pricing Policy for Innovative Lifesaving Therapies (PPILT) a groundbreaking initiative that ensures cutting-edge treatments and lifesaving drugs are available to everyone, regardless of income.

This recognition highlights Goa’s commitment to inclusive healthcare and its growing reputation as a state driving forward the vision of One Earth, One Health.

Goa Mourns the Passing of Former Chief Minister and Agriculture Minister Ravi Naik

 Goa’s political landscape lost one of its senior-most leaders on Wednesday with the passing of Ravi Naik , the state’s Agriculture Minister and former Chief Minister . Naik, 79, suffered a cardiac arrest at his residence located around 30 kilometers from Panaji and was rushed to a private hospital in Ponda town , where doctors declared him dead around 1 a.m. According to family sources, Naik experienced sudden chest pain late Tuesday night. Despite immediate efforts to revive him, the leader succumbed to cardiac complications in the early hours of Wednesday. His body has been kept at his Ponda residence for public homage before the final rites later in the day.
