Free eye check-ups are organized at Mega Medical Camps across the state, ensuring accessible care for all. Residents can also avail regular eye screenings at their nearest Health & Wellness Centres and Primary Health Centres. These initiatives reflect a sustained commitment to #VisionForAll, empowering citizens to prioritize eye health for a healthier future.

Goa Mourns the Passing of Former Chief Minister and Agriculture Minister Ravi Naik

 Goa’s political landscape lost one of its senior-most leaders on Wednesday with the passing of Ravi Naik , the state’s Agriculture Minister and former Chief Minister . Naik, 79, suffered a cardiac arrest at his residence located around 30 kilometers from Panaji and was rushed to a private hospital in Ponda town , where doctors declared him dead around 1 a.m. According to family sources, Naik experienced sudden chest pain late Tuesday night. Despite immediate efforts to revive him, the leader succumbed to cardiac complications in the early hours of Wednesday. His body has been kept at his Ponda residence for public homage before the final rites later in the day.
