Vishwajit Rane Champions Mental Health in Goa on World Mental Health Day 2025


 World Mental Health Day 2025 in Goa witnessed a special celebration under Health Minister Vishwajit Rane, organised by State Tele MANAS in collaboration with the Directorate of Health Services at South Goa District Hospital, Margao. With the theme “Access to Service: Mental Health in Catastrophes and Emergencies,” Minister Rane reaffirmed his vision of a state where mental health is prioritized and accessible to all.

Initiatives like Tele MANAS, strongly supported and guided by Minister Rane, have become a vital lifeline for citizens. With over 20,000 calls received to date, the service ensures Goans can access timely mental health support, advice, and care even during emergencies and crises.
