Vishwajit Rane Leads Grassroots Engagement in Usgao Panchayat


 Goa’s Health Minister, Vishwajit Rane, visited Ward No. 8, Usgao Panchayat to engage directly with residents and local representatives. Accompanied by the Sarpanch and Panch members, Rane reviewed ongoing development projects and gathered valuable feedback from the community.

During his interaction, Vishwajit Rane emphasized the importance of grassroots participation in governance. He reiterated that development should be people-led, ensuring that every citizen experiences tangible improvements in their quality of life.

Under his leadership, Usgao is witnessing steady progress in infrastructure, healthcare access, and civic amenities aligning with the broader vision of Viksit Bharat. The minister reaffirmed his dedication to making Usgao a model of inclusive, transparent, and sustainable growth.

Goa Mourns the Passing of Former Chief Minister and Agriculture Minister Ravi Naik

 Goa’s political landscape lost one of its senior-most leaders on Wednesday with the passing of Ravi Naik , the state’s Agriculture Minister and former Chief Minister . Naik, 79, suffered a cardiac arrest at his residence located around 30 kilometers from Panaji and was rushed to a private hospital in Ponda town , where doctors declared him dead around 1 a.m. According to family sources, Naik experienced sudden chest pain late Tuesday night. Despite immediate efforts to revive him, the leader succumbed to cardiac complications in the early hours of Wednesday.
