Goa Launches “Feels Like Goa” Campaign to Celebrate Culture, Community, and Authentic Travel

As the festive season approaches, Goa is set to welcome visitors with renewed warmth through its year-end tourism campaign, “Feels Like Goa” a celebration of the state’s culture, traditions, and community spirit.

The initiative aims to rekindle the emotional connection travellers share with Goa, going beyond beaches to highlight its heritage, spirituality, and local life.

According to the Department of Tourism, the campaign is designed to evoke nostalgia and belonging inviting visitors to rediscover Goa’s timeless essence while promoting a regenerative tourism model that values people, culture, and the environment.

“Feels Like Goa” will feature collaborations with local artists, artisans, and communities to create authentic cultural experiences from heritage walks and village feasts to art festivals and traditional performances.

Goa has already recorded over 50 lakh tourists in the first half of 2025, including 20 lakh international visitors, showcasing its growing appeal as a year-round destination.

In addition to the campaign, the state government has initiated several tourism infrastructure projects, such as the Unity Mall, Porvorim Town Square, and the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Digital Museum, to expand Goa’s appeal as a multifaceted tourism hub.

As the year draws to a close, “Feels Like Goa” invites travellers to experience the state not just as a destination but as a feeling of homecoming, warmth, and togetherness.
